Peachtober Day 8: Mask.🦝
‘Family.’

My boyfriend made the suggestion to draw the ‘great grey shrike’, because these birds look like they have a black eyemask on. I love drawing birds, so I loved the idea, but I also wanted to draw a raccoon, so I combined the two. &Thought it would be nice, if the raccoon would discover the bird and see the same black mask, and he would wonder if they are family?!😊

I’ve been working and drawing a lot, lately, and my family, friends and boyfriend always make sure that, in times like these, I have some necessary rest or downtime. By pointing out, that I haven’t taken a break and that I need one, and by taking me somewhere to have fun or to rest. Sometimes I get caught up in working and drawing, that I forget about making time for rest and family and friends. I love them for understanding, that sometimes I need to do some deep work and focus, and that they support me in the things I love. But I also love that they remind me of how much I love spending time with them and how much it energizes me, and to keep me healthy, sane and happy.
What do you do to stay happy and healthy, when you’re really busy?
