‘Home is where the heart is.’

I love travelling, and exploring new places, but I also love being at home. It’s always a bit of a conflicted feeling: I’m so happy when I get to discover new places and when we go on adventures, but then I miss being at our home with our lovely cat.
I always think: If I could bring our cat and our home with us, wherever we’d go, that would be the best of both worlds, wouldn’t it?!🙈

That made me think of a snail, that brings his home everywhere it goes. And for this illustration I made the home of the snail a little bigger and more fancy, than it usually is. 😊

Imagine carrying everything you love about your home with you, when you travel. Would you love it or does traveling actually make you appreciate your home even more, when you get back?
