Peachtober Day 19: Boot.🪺
‘Home is where you make it.’

I’m lucky to have had the coziest and loveliest home where I grew up in, and to now be able to come back home everyday in our own home that we are so fond of. But for me a home is not really a physical place, it’s what you make of it and who you share it with.💛

So I wanted to illustrate this, with a bird that made a home for her little one, in an old boot, hidden away in a garden. She made her own, creative home and made it homely, loving, cosy and safe for her little family. It may not look like a usual home, but it’s their home filled with their love, memories and family, and to me, that’s the most beautiful home it can be. 😊
